Kara and Baxter’s Wedding was to take place in the Adirondacks in New York. When the worst of the pandemic was among us here in New York they made the difficult decision to postpone their celebration but to move forward with their Wedding ceremony… in Charlottesville, Virginia!
We were amazed by how much detail went into Kara and Baxter’s alternative plan. It was intimate, it was relaxed and it was absolutely stunning!
Baxter’s family’s home, a sprawling estate in Charlottesville was a little piece of heaven. For their ceremony, wooden pews sat in the lawn framed handsomely behind floral arrangements and under a canopy of shade. The view over looked the hills. A gorgeous wood farm table, which seated all of their guests, was dressed with the most romantic place settings and floral arrangements by Mallory Joyce Design.
We look forward to capturing their Big celebration next year in the mountains of New York! Congratulations to Kara & Baxter on a beautiful Wedding!

It was an absolute honor to be apart of Maddie & JJ’s Wedding day! What was set to be a small courthouse wedding for these two high school sweet hearts while Maddie was home from the Navy on leave became a beautiful Wedding in Cazenovia surrounded by friends and family! Thanks to everyone who pulled together to make this day so special!
Katherine & Dan are getting married this fall at the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk Virginia and we’re so so excited to capture their Wedding day! We couldn’t wait to meet them and we had the best time running around the Freemason District together!
Beth & Josh were lovely to spend an evening with at their Engagement session in Virginia Beach! We’re so excited to celebrate with them in the spring of 2020! They are sweet, laid back and such a handsome couple!
Being back at one of our old stomping grounds in Virginia Beach was really fun. Before we starting traveling for Weddings up and down the coast we were among the regular “First Landers.” 🙂 Every time we’re in a familiar location it’s another opportunity to see it with fresh eyes and capture it with another beautiful couple!
You guys, it’s been the most wonderful year and the flow of our Wedding season has been one of our favorites to date! We’re excited to fill the Blog up with all of the couples, engagements and Weddings we’ve been working on over the end of the summer and start of our fall season! Yes, 3 months of Engagement sessions and Weddings across Virginia and New York to post! We took a pause on updating our Blog to focus on Editing, Delivery and another HUGE project that we promise the world will know about in the months to come. It’s under tight wraps! 😉 Our 2020 season is already over half booked and we’re looking forward to filling up our last remaining dates!
Thanks for following along!!
